Give Kids a Smile

Northville, Mich. –Dr. William Demray, and several members of the Preservation Dental staff will volunteer their services to “Give Kids A Smile” on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at UDM School of Dentistry (University of Detroit Mercy, 2700 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Detroit MI).  The event is an annual one-day initiative to provide free dental screenings and treatment to underserved children, 4 – 16 years of age. “Give Kids A Smile” is just one of many activities observed as part of National Children’s Dental Health Month.

National Children’s Dental Health Month is celebrated nationwide throughout February. The focus is to raise awareness about the importance of oral health.Dr. Demray and his team take time to assist youngsters in developing good habits at an early age. At Preservation Dental, children earn PD Bucks for playing an active role in taking care of their teeth and gums. Dr. Demray’s advice is simple, “It is important to get a good start for a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums.”

Dr. Demray and his staff will also visit pre-schools in the community during February to introduce the dentist and have a little fun talking about tooth brushing, flossing and the Tooth Fairy!
